Tony fell in love with keyboards and synthesizers in 1980. He always had a passion for brands that were on the cutting edge of music technology. That passion led him to found Nova Musik in 1999, a popular online shop that catered to the needs of electronic musicians. Tony grew Nova Musik to multi-million dollar annual sales, winning several MI Industry awards from manufacturers along the way as well as 2 Future 50 awards from the Business Journal for Fastest Growing Firms in Wisconsin.
After selling Nova Musik in 2012 and taking a short break from MI, Tony co-founded Voltage & Company in 2016 with the aim of providing creative distribution, fulfillment, and rep services to high-quality manufacturers around the globe.

Mike began his AV career working in Public Access Television while attending the University of Wisconsin, eventually becoming an Assistant and Technical Director for Madison City Channel.
He began working at Nova Musik in 2009 in a variety of logistical and technical roles such as order processing, inventory management, and studio set-up.
Mike co-founded Voltage & Company in 2016. You can find Mike giving product demonstrations at trade shows like KnobCon, Synthplex, Moogfest, and NAMM. He has a passion for forward-thinking instruments and finding the best way to get those products to your favorite retailer.
Eric Olsen

Eric started his career as a DJ in the Midwest in the late 1990s - early 2000s.
Eric was originally a customer of Nova Musik and in 2005, Tony Gral (Owner) offered him a job on the salesfloor. Over the next seven years, alongside Tony, he helped grow Nova Musik into a multi-million dollar operation. After a few years, he was promoted to General Manager and oversaw the day-to-day of each department. His experience at Nova Musik helped to develop a unique skillset in Direct Sales, eCommerce, and Marketing at the Retail level.
In 2012, Eric moved to the other side of the Musical Instruments (MI) Industry at a manufacturer, InMusic Brands where he was the head of the eCommerce division. Over the next 5 years, Eric helped to more than double all direct sales for InMusic Brands.
In 2017, Eric briefly left the MI Industry to build an eCommerce/Marketing division for Flex Seal. His team grew the direct sales of Flex Seal into a multi-million dollar operation.
In late 2020, Eric reunited with Tony and Mike at Voltage & Company as Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
Linda Lafferty

Linda Lafferty is the newest member of the VCO team. Linda’s musical background is in classical voice and piano but Switched on Bach introduced her to the synthesizer, and she’s been a synth lover ever since. After stints in Sales and Marketing departments at various tech companies, she found her way to Moog Music in 2002. She recently retired from the company after just under 20 years. During her long tenure at Moog, she held various positions in Sales including U.S. Sales Manager and Sales Director. While at Moog, Nova Musik was one of Linda’s accounts, and she got to know Tony, Eric and Mike during that time. Her focus at VCO is key account management and business development.
