OVERVIEW
Warm and vintage sounding low resonance settings, as well as aggressive and modern high resonance sounds - the RT-451, does both. It is very flexible and has a lot of character.
This filter creates the kind of earthshaking low-end sine oscillations that are perfect for all kinds of electronic kick sounds or ultra-low sub-bass drones popular in Drum & Bass music. Each filter has switchable lowpass, highpass, and bandpass characteristics. The toggle switches mix the different filter functions together and feed them to the output. The parameters of both filters operate totally independently from each other but the Couple knob in the middle controls both filter frequencies simultaneously. That allows for controlling both filters in series or parallel configurations with one dedicated knob.

What does DUAL MULTIMODE FILTER sound like?
LP, BP and HP switch.
The switches control which filter outputs are connected to the summing output amplifier. Both filters feature three different outputs. The right position activates the filter output and the left position mutes the filter signal.
Control Both Filters Simultaneously.
The filter frequency knob controls, where the filter action takes place, we described above. If you can’t open or close the filter completely you should have a look to the coupler knob. The value of the Coupler knob is always added to the value of the filter frequency knobs.
The resonance boosts the frequencies close to the filter frequency setting. As a result, the outputs get a kind of bandpass character at moderate settings. High values cause the filter to self resonate.
